Planet Vesta

A ribbon world in the Vesta star system where humanity has made its home. Nestled between two inhospitable zones, colonists and visitors of Vesta-B can only live in a narrow strip on the planet.

This microworld is a perfect addition to any science fiction TTRPG system as an enclosed environment or planet encounter.

Included:

• Background and environmental information on the Vesta star system and Vesta-B.
• Notes on biodomes, compounds, settlements on Vesta-B to help you design your own communities + a starter dome cluster to get you going.
• Seven mission prompts ranging from short and low risk mysteries to combat and high risk adventures.

Planet Vesta was produced for Tiny World TTRPG Jam 2025 (and will remain free for the duration of the game jam) & Special Interest TTRPG Jam as an agnostic planet setting that can be included in any science-fiction game.

This microsetting will be part of the world of a future project, Centauri Frontier, involving a star system with multiple planets, alternate history and lore. In this setting, humanity has just begun its space colonization efforts and no sign of alien life has ever been discovered before. Terraforming efforts are underway with varying degrees of progress and success.
